Overview
Launched back in 2011 as a corporate responsibility program, Citihub Dormitory was quick to grow into the incredible social enterprise it is today. Its main goal is to provide low-cost, safe, and clean housing through eco-friendly constructed dormitories out of recycled shipping containers to those living within key areas in Metro Manila.
For their campaigns, we were asked to create informative ones based on the info that they’ve given us. As always, our team made sure to simply highlight key information to prevent text overload and also used their green color scheme as much as possible to truly associate the visuals to Citihub.
Our team made great use of the photos provided by the partner for some of the visuals created and was also able to stretch out their creativity upon the creation of innovative visuals like the use of coins to form the shape of the Metro while also pertaining to Citihub’s P57/day rent.
Today, we are now providing a decent and yet affordable housing to over 1,015 individuals around metro.

Our team also created these black and white sketches which were partnered alongside motivational quotes and other inspirational words of wisdom in order to further ignite interest and engagement to Citihub’s target audience.
They also requested for us to design printed outputs such as I.D.s and brochures. All in all, our team made sure to use their specific green color for both prints alongside brief but still informative copies for the brochure.
Our team was also requested for a short animated video to promote Citihub’s affordable housing within the city. Bearing in mind to keep it brief, they were still able to make it informative through the highlighting of key words and info enough for anyone to understand the great deal offered by the partner.
Our team also had an on-site photoshoot in which they took professional shots of the sustainable housing developed not only for our partner’s official use but also for our own use in the creation of visuals for them.
Another one of their requests was for a video that highlighted their dormitories’ facilities. To keep it as visually engaging, our team made use of steady panning clips while incorporating short, descriptive texts that were placed in the center of each shot.
Lastly, we were tasked to produce a video highlighting their PWD staff. Therefore, our team decided to go heartfelt in which they interviewed each PWD worker and made them tell their story and how Citihub was able to change their life for the better. This stylistic approach was chosen to both enhance the video’s touching effect onto the viewers and to showcase the PWD career opportunity at Citihub.
